THE PRESENTER

For 18 years + selected by audition.

Develop your personal style and confidence as a presenter for a live audience, television and other media. This course will introduce you to the full range of live and recorded presentation roles and start you on the path to develop the skills you need to succeed in this competitive field. Each term concludes with a practical presentation of your work, including a simulated TV studio lifestyle show. Entry is by audition. The audition will involve simple exercises to camera, which we will send you when your audition is confirmed.

Term 1: THE LIVE PRESENTER

Physical presence, vocal communication, improvisation and storytelling, audience contact

Term 2: THE SCREEN RADIO & MEDIA PRESENTER

The voice, communicating with a radio audience, narration and voice-overs, on-screen presence, recording stories on location

Term 3: THE TELEVISION PRESENTER

Lifestyle shows, game shows, children's shows, news and weather, current affairs, magazine and chat shows

Term 4: SHOWREEL

Showreels (by invitation only)

FEES

The total course cost for 2019 is $3975 including GST.   Fees are payable over 5 instalments of $795.

Fees must be paid in advance. There is no refund of fees once the term commences.

Complete an application form and send it to NIDA Open Program with the application fee ($22), your resume, a passport size photograph and a paragraph explaining why you would like to do the course or apply online below and bring your resume and paragraph to your audition.
