DRAMA STUDIO

15 - 17 Years

This one year course is designed for dedicated drama students to develop their acting skills as part of an ensemble. Core content includes voice, movement, improvisation, scene work, devising theatre and screen acting. Participants are exposed to a variety of performance styles and have a number of opportunities for presentations, including an end of year performance in a NIDA theatre. Entry is by audition. The audition will involve improvised exercises and simple scenes, whichwe will send you when your auditionis confirmed.

DATES

Classes are held on consecutive Sundays

Term 1: 14 February to 28 March
Acting, improvisation, voice, movement, devising theatre

Term 2: 25 April to 27 June (no classes 23 May)
Scene work for theatre, rehearsal process and stagecraft

Term 3: 25 July to 12 September
Screen acting

Term 4: 17 October to 12 December
Theatre production: rehearsals and performance

TIMES & COSTS

Sundays 12.00pm - 5.00pm

Fees: $2,950 payable over 5 instalments of $590
