YOUNG PRESENTERS STUDIOFor 16-20 years selected by audition.
Develop your personal style and confidence as a presenter for a live audience, television and other media. This course will introduce you to thefull range of live and recorded presentation roles, and start you on the path to developing the skills you need to succeed in this competitive field. Each term concludes with a practical presentation of your work, including a simulated TV studio lifestyle show. Entry is by audition. The audition will involve simple exercises to camera, which we will send you when your audition is confirmed.

Term 1: 13 February to 27 March
The Live Presenter: voice, movement, improvisation, live presenting
Term 2: 24 April to 26 June (no classes 23 May)
The TV Presenter: Children’s TV, autocue, sound studio exercises
Term 3: 24 July to 11 September
TV Presenter project
Term 4: 16 October to 11 December

FEES
The total course cost for 2010 is $3975 including GST payable over 5 instalments of $795.
Fees must be paid in advance with a commitment to continue the course for the duration of the year. There is no refund of fees once the term commences.

Audition fee: $22
You do not need to prepare anything for the audition, which will involve improvised exercises to camera. Please wear comfortable clothing to the audition. All applicants will be given an audition. The decision of the panel is final.
