In 2010 there are opportunities for people who have previously attended NIDA Open Program courses to perform in a theatre production at NIDA.
The next productions is Alfie for students 18yrs+
Alfie by Bill Naughton
Originally a hit play in the 1960s, Alfie was made into a film twice - firstly with Michael Caine and Jane Asher (who was then Paul McCartney’s girlfriend) and most recently starring Jude Law. The story of Alfie and his succession of lovers has reached iconic status – being born of the Swinging Sixties and exploring issues of sexual promiscuity, love and betrayal with humour and a degree of openness that still surprises us.
