Dear <~~First~~>,
Welcome to the first edition of MiCroPhone for 2008.
It has been a busy start to the new year with the Sydney Corporate Performance course booked out until June. In Melbourne the course also booked out early, but will return again in December for those who missed out. To avoid any disappointment, send your enrolment forms in as early as possible to guarantee your place. Remember course numbers are restricted to ten places.
The Corporate Performance Department is receptive to participant feedback and due to overwhelming interest, we have now introduced a one day refresher course as a follow up for participants who have completed the Corporate Performance Course.
Attending a follow up course is an excellent opportunity to rekindle enthusiasm and strengthen existing techniques that will see you consistently present and deliver with impact. Also on offer, is a communication skills refresher course open to anyone who has attended any form of communication skills training. Please visit the Refresher Courses page on the website or call us on (02) 9697 7560 to discuss your specific training needs.
In this edition:
1. 'She Means Business' Seminars - dates and locations now available 2. Refresher courses introduced - download the 2008 training schedule 3. Whats coming up? - find a training course in April, May and June | NIDA Open Day

SHE MEANS BUSINESS SEMINARS 2008
NIDA is shining the spotlight on professional women in 2008 by offering a series of informative seminars and networking events aimed at giving ‘leading ladies’ better communication tools to enhance work performances.
The ‘She Means Business’ series is an extension of NIDA’s training options for business women, and is an informative and enriching session that focuses on critical management and communication issues as they apply to female business professionals. Under the skilful direction of Australian actor and corporate trainer Debra Lawrance, participants will explore compelling views on what it takes to command attention and create a meaningful and powerful impression.
Debra Lawrance is a passionate speaker and she is keen to share her vast knowledge on the key ingredients for creating an effective vocal and physical presence, and to explain how the effective use of voice, gesture, movement and language lead naturally to the ability to communicate with authority and authenticity. | |
"I firmly and passionately believe that if women can clear a pathway to their authentic voice - with good breath support, resonance and articulation - hearing that voice in their own ears will create the courage to really be heard”.
Debra Lawrance
