Dear <~~First~~>,

Brecht, rewired and reloaded. Don’t miss The Private Life of the Master Race directed by Helmut Bakaitis, Head of Directing at NIDA. Helmut has taken the Second Year Actors and his production team on a decadent, daring ride in what promises to be an epic and evocative production full of twists, turns, a tanker and cabaret tunes – catch Helmut giving some insights into the show in this month’s podcast.

Playwriting enthusiasts, don’t forget applications close 2 November for the 2008 Playwrights Studio and budding thespians of all sorts, why not add some theatrical heat to your summer by enrolling in one of the many courses on offer via NIDA’s Open Program this summer?

Hot off the list at NIDA is the announcement of the Directors’ productions 2007. We have seven graduating directors this year – so seven productions to be showcased over two programs. Take a look at what these new directors are taking to the stage.

Finally, we hope you had the opportunity to see one, if not more, of the three productions in the Graduation season 3 REALITY BITES – if you are quick, you could still catch a ticket to Class Enemy which concludes on Saturday.

Hope to see you at ‘Private Life’ or in November for the Directors’ Productions.
