Dear <~~First~~>,
NIDA staff, students and a number of graduates are coming to NIDA Open Day, but most importantly, we hope you are too.
Sneak a peek behind the scenes of our wonderful training institution and while you are at it, catch the ‘underbelly’ of the arts industry when ‘Detective Jacqui James’, alias NIDA graduate Caroline Craig, gives a session on the industry and her career as an actor. Other NIDA Acting graduates giving sessions at Open Day will be Nicholas Bishop (Home and Away), Sonia Todd (McLeod’s Daughters and also our Stage Right feature this month), Susie Porter (East of Everything) and cast members from All Saints, alongside graduates from the Design, Production, Costume and Props courses.
If you like to create costumes, press play on this month’s podcast and you’ll gain insight into the costume course and the construction challenge they are organising for Open Day. Next week a full program will be on the website, so stay tuned and save the date: Saturday 31 May, 2008, 10am – 4pm.
NIDA Open Day is your opportunity to find out about NIDA and all it has to offer - whether you are interested in full-time or short courses, corporate performance training, meeting our students and observing them at work, seeing the rehearsal rooms and theatres of NIDA, or trying your hand at a few workshops.
Come and play - it will be a ‘dramatically’ good day.
