Dear <~~First~~>,
Term three has begun and the NIDA hallways, classrooms and foyers are again overflowing with creative energy.
Full-time students are busily preparing new works including Movement Studies’ annual presentation of Bodyline at the end of August, the Second Year Production of The Kitchen in September, not to mention our upcoming Graduation Productions and Design Exhibition. A special costume exhibition, From Bustles to Bridezilla, is now on in the NIDA foyer, showcasing wedding fashions from the 1880s to the 1980s, and applications are now open for our 2009 full-time courses.
At NIDA Open Program, term three youth classes have just started and applications are now open for a whole range of part-time courses for adults and young people in 2009.
NIDA Corporate Performance will present two innovative seminars examining workplace communication.
The Parade Theatres are getting ready to host a variety of shows. In addition to the upcoming NIDA student productions, the smash hit comedy Busting Out will soon debut in the Parade Theatre.
Every term brings unexpected and exciting new projects to NIDA and third term is no exception. Whether you’re a regular NIDA audience member or haven’t visited us in a while, be sure to attend one of our events this season and unleash your creativity. |

Continuing on from the success of the recent She Means Business seminars, NIDA Corporate Performance will present two additional programs Don't Entertain a Bully and Be Prepared to Perform. Focusing on critical workplace issues and personal presentation skills, both experiential sessions will explore compelling views on the role of communication in conveying a leadership presence, meaningful exchange and a lasting impression. Exploring the complex nature of workplace bullying and the heightened communication skills needed to address the issue head -on, Don't entertain a Bully will be held at NIDA on 18 September. With a practical focus on the vocal and physical skills that support all presentations, Be Prepared to Perform will be held at NIDA on 23 October. | |

With more front than Myer, two bosom-buddies Emma Powell and Bev Killick star in their own laugh-out-loud and totally liberating show which has women cheering on their feet and men gasping with amazement!
Its an uplifting celebration of bouncy songs, wobbly jokes, thigh-slapping sketches, and of course, practical demonstrations of the fascinating lesser-known uses of your drooping asset.
Currently in its 7th sell-out week in Brisbane, this show will be a smash hit when it reaches Sydney.
