Most memorable NIDA experience?
When I was dressed as a a fairy and belaying Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It was really important, because I didn’t want to drop him!

If your life were a theatre act what would it be called?
'Take a Ticket and Get in Line.'

What’s the drama in your life?
Not enough time in the day. I need more to clean up.

Favourite spot for pre-theatre dinner?
Left-overs in my office.

Best prop you ever made?
A silver piece of jewellery made for Star Wars Episode II, worn by Queen Amidala and six full-size beef carcasses for Sydney Dance Company.

What prompts you to act?  
Being told I’ve got to get something done. Now!

Ever been upstaged?
Yes. By all of my students.

Advice for all budding thespians?
Make the most of every moment. Seriously.
