The Nancy Fairfax Foyer is about to be transformed into a hive of creativity for the annual NIDA Design Exhibition, 12 October - 2 November. Set models, puppetry, props, and costumes are amongst the works which will be on display- works designed and crafted by NIDA’s 2007 graduating Design, Production Crafts and Production students. Take time for a peek – the exhibition is open 9am – 6pm during the day, and until 10.30pm, when productions are showing.
Classic Brecht - ‘rewired and reloaded’ - hits The Parade Theatre on 19 October. Spiced with songs of Dietrich fame, cross-dressing, and epic effects, The Private Life of the Master Race will be a decadent and provocative production. See below for your chance to win two tickets.
Finally, why not add some ‘spring’ to your step this month with an Open Program Spring Holiday course, and if you are applying for any of the NIDA full-time courses, don't forget applications close on 30 September.
Hope to see you at NIDA this month. If you are here, pop up to Level 2 outside the Library and say hello to our special - very special - Stage Right featured guest. He's getting up to mischief with some of his 'Magic Pudding' friends in the glass display cabinets. |
