NIDA is pleased to announce an exciting season of three very different comedies to tickle your funny bone, each featuring the third year actors:

Credited with changing the face of modern Irish Theatre, tragi-comedian Brian Friel, explores the Irish psyche with unmatched insight and razor sharp wit.

As part of Sydney Festival, the Gate Theatre is presenting three plays: Faith Healer, arguably Friel's greatest play, along with two pieces inspired by Anton Chekhov; Afterplay and The Yalta Game. Now showing at the Parade Theatre until 1 February.

Give your child the very best start to their creative life by enrolling them in NIDA's weekly classes for young people. 

Classes are available for young people from 2 to 18 years and for both returning students or newcomers.  Classes are held on weekday afternoons, Saturday mornings and on Sundays.

In addition to drama and acting classes this year we are offering music theatre, singing, public speaking, production and HSC topics.  NIDA tutors are NIDA graduates or industry professionals. 

Term 1 dates:
Monday February 9 - April 5 (please note: no classes on Sunday 22 February).

Our evening and weekend short course program commences in February with NIDA graduates and industry experienced tutors.
