NIDA E News ‘Box Seat’ & Parade Theatres Website

Box Seat
The NIDA e-newsletter ‘Box Seat’ has more than 7200 subscribers at present and this number is growing rapidly. The subscriber base is made up of regular Parade Theatre customers, corporate clients, sponsors, supporters, local & international industry contacts, general arts lovers and young people interested in the arts. Should you wish to utilse ‘Box Seat’ we can send you guidelines outlining how to do this.

Website
We will place your event on our website. Please email a brief description (approximately 200 words) of your event including performance dates and times with plain images (172 pixels w x 117 pixels h) and title treatment (reasonable size 300dpi jpegs) to manager@paradetheatres.com.au.

Each image must be labelled as follows:

event/image name, year, ‘photo’ photographer eg Carousel 2007 photo Annie Leibovitz.

Merchandising
All merchandise, including programs, sold at Parade Theatres must be sold through NIDA’s exclusive merchandiser, Playbill. A percentage of sales (10% on all recording and 15% on all merchandise other than recordings) will be payable to Parade Theatres.

Programs
A ¼ to ½ page space must be made available in the program to feature Parade Theatres/NIDA credits. For archival purposes the Hirer should provide to the Manager Parade Theatres two copies of each program and two copies of any production posters or handbills.

Signage
Parade Theatres has two external signs on Anzac Parade available for hire. The dimensions are 1.86m wide x 1.06m deep and 2.01 m wide x 0.710 m high. The approximate cost for printing and installation is $560 plus GST. The artwork needs to be provided by you separately. Priority for spaces will be given to longer running productions.

Venue Publicity
Your material will be displayed in the Nancy Fairfax Foyer, at the Box Office and at selective UNSW outlets subject to space availability. Please supply 10 x A3 vertical posters and 500 DL flyers for this purpose.

Special permission must be obtained from Parade Theatres management for the handout of flyers and other promotional materials.

Use of the Parade Theatres Logo
The Parade Theatres logo should be used on all printed or web based material for your event. Four versions are available for download.

Artwork for all printed matter containing the Parade Theatres logo should be emailed to manager@paradetheatres.com.au for approval prior to printing.

All promotional material and advertisements published by the Hirer should read similar to:

Presents
... Production ...

at Parade Theatres,  Kensington or Parade Theatres, 215 Anzac Parade, Kensington
