AUSTRIA GOES TO THE PROMS

In the presence of Emperor Josef II, the concert begins with Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and concludes with Mahler's Resurrection Symphony, via Mozart's Requiem, Concerto for Flute and Harp (in C Major), and the great choruses of Sigmund Romberg. The audience rises at the finale to sing from The Sound of Music and the hymn Austria.
