NIDA FOUNDATION TRUST

The NIDA Foundation Trust was established in 1984 as an independent body charged with raising funds for projects and activities that are not provided for by regular government funding or by operational income. Foundation funds have been, and will continue to be, a critical driver of NIDA’s future capacity to grow, respond to change and meet he highest educational standards. The NIDA Foundation Trust raises funds through its corporate partnerships and through private giving, donations and bequests. These contributions finance all-important programs and capital works, including:

• The Student Scholarship Program
• Innovating in and modernising the learning environment
• Play commissions and new play productions 
• Outreach and access – bringing the Open Program to more remote communities
•  Special/personal projects

 In the wake of a global economic downturn and amidst the most competitive philanthropic environment yet seen in Australia, planning for the future of NIDA and its students is now more vital than ever. The NIDA Foundation Trust, therefore, is embarking upon an unprecedented, robust campaign to appeal to its loyal base and fortify the Institute’s immediate fundraising needs.
